About Retreats...
Judy offers various opportunities for quilters to "get away from it all", through retreats held at one of two different venues... THE JONES MANSION, in Mineral Point, Wi or The GROVE RETREAT, in Evansville, Wi.

Retreats are open to anyone wishing to spend quality time in a warm, friendly atmosphere with no pressure to do anything except what you enjoy. Although there is a featured project (sometimes a small crafty project or quilt pattern), this is very low-key and meant only as a suggestion for needed inspiration, most attendees work on their own individual projects. Whether coming with friends or attending "solo", Judy promises that you will find this experience one of renewal, accomplishment and gaining new friends.

Judy also teaches at two well known schools (The Clearing & Sievers Fiber Arts School), both in Door County Wisconsin. Her style of teaching is nonthreatening and very laid back. Students should feel able to commit as much or as little to their quilting as their mood tells them. Taking a break for shopping or a walk is encouraged .... Judy may even go along with you!
