The Clearing

THE CLEARING is a school of discovery in the arts, humanities and natural sciences in Ellison Bay, Wi (Door County).   It is a "hands on" folk school experience where students reside for a full week of camaraderie, beauty in nature, quilting and great food.

The week offers a project or theme that most participants choose to work on but Judy is open to students working on quilts of their own choosing as well. Students sew in the Schoolhouse, a short walk from the Main Lodge and campus.
