Judy leads two groups at Stitcher's Crossing in Madison, Wi.

"QUILT SITTERS CIRCLE" meets six times a year on the second Tuesday of Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept and Nov. She offers a Tue afternoon group at 1:30pm, an evening group at 7 pm. Judy presents a quilt pattern at each meeting, showing the quilt design and explaining a handout that details directions for making each particular quilt. New products are highlighted and announcements of interest for quilters are given as well. This is followed by a "show and tell" of members projects which always proves to inspire the group.

"FOLK ART"  meets six times over the course of a year, with meetings on the third Wed. of Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct and Dec. An afternoon group will meet at 1:30 and an evening group at 6:30pm.

FOLK ART   1:30 or 6:30-8:30 This "club" will begin Feb 17th, 2010. The project for the year features the designs of Sue Spargo.  Each participant picks her pattern, then meetings will be spent stitching and learning embellishing techniques.

TEA PARTY - Monday, June 22   5:30-8:30pm
This row quilt features star blocks that almost appear to have a circle appearance to them.  Each row is separated by a vine of heart shaped leaves.  Then, the whole pieced section is highlighted by a faux scalloped edge.  Truly delightful!   This pattern is pictured under the "Pattern tab".

IT'S OK...to think! - Mondays, July 19, 26th & Aug 2       5:30-8:30pm
Come to be empowered!  This 3 week class features a lecture format with sewing done between classes.  Judy gives you the tools to look at a quilt block and be able to draw it, decide what size to make it, how big the quilt will be and how many blocks to make.  Then...what size to cut the strips, how many strips to cut and how much fabric to buy.  This will revolutionize your quilting and soon you will be thinking for yourself.  Yes, you can do it!

PRAIRIE LILY TABLERUNNER - Mon, Aug 9   5:30-8:30pm
Two lily blocks are all that is needed to create this stylish tablerunner.  A feature fabric highlights the central portion with the two lily blocks on each end.  

UFFIZZI - Mon, Aug 16   5:30-8:30pm
Inspired by a rug, this quilt is created with two very simple pieced blocks and alternating plain blocks that feature wool applique.  This quilt is pictured under the "Patterns" tab.
