Judy Hasheider is a nationally known quilt teacher who lives near Sauk City, Wi. Judy has been teaching quilting in the Madison, Wisconsin area for almost 30 years. She focuses mainly on traditional quilt patterns and in teaching quilters "how to think". Several of Judy's quilts have been featured in national quilting magazines and she publishes her own patterns as well. Judy teaches at The Clearing in Ellison Bay, Door County Wi and at Sievers School of Fiber Arts on Washington Island, Door County Wi. She also offers classes at the Madison Quilt Expo and has taught at Wisconsin Quilt Symposium. Most weekends throughout the year will find her conducting quilting retreats for quilters from Wisconsin and surrounding states.

Judy and her husband, John, have three grown children and live on the Hasheider homestead working dairy farm.
